Maria Montessori about children

A very wise quote from Dr. Mary Montessori.
Absolutely exemplary!

“In reality, the child carries within him the key to his enigmatic individual existence from the very beginning. It has an inner blueprint of the soul and predetermined guidelines for its development.

But all of this is initially extremely delicate and sensitive, and an untimely intervention by the adult with his will and his exaggerated ideas about his own power can destroy this blueprint or steer its realization down the wrong path.

Children are guests who ask for directions.

Here is an instructional video that aptly explains the basics of Maria Monthessori's method.
