A little story about lies
The great palace of lies
Once upon a time, all spirits built two palaces.
A palace of Truth and a palace of lies.
Every time a Kind told the truth, a brick was made for the palace of truth.
The Spirits of Truth would then take it and add it to the growing walls.
Likewise, the Palace of Lies was built.
Each stone was created when a child told a lie.
Both palaces were impressive - the best in the world - and any group of spirits worked hard to ensure her own palace was the best.
So much so that the lying spirits, being much more tricky and deceitful, sent a group of spirits into the world to trick children into telling more and more lies.
These ghosts were successful and got many more stones.
As a result, her palace grew larger and more spectacular.
But one day something strange happened in the palace of lies. One of the stones turned into a cardboard box.
A little later, another brick turned into sand, and then another turned into glass and shattered.
And so, little by little, it became clear that the brick he had created would change shape, crush, and finally disappear when a lie was discovered.
In this way, the Palace of Lies grew weaker and weaker and eventually fell apart completely.
In doing so, everyone, including the lying spirits, understood that lies cannot be used for anything. You are never what you seem and you never know what will become of you.
