Obverse in Switzerland – The highest place in Europe – Snow Switzerland
Seclusion, Snow and ice require a life close to nature here. Anyone who lives here has to Winter like. In Obverse it is winter 7 months of the year.
In Juf, the highest hamlet in Europe that is inhabited all year round, at 2126 meters it is often bitterly cold. In addition to agriculture, tourism is the most important industry in the valley.
Many tourists come to Avers to go on tours - with snowboards and snowshoes or in the classic way skies. Some famous tours tempt you, such as the Forcellina, the Septimer Pass or the Fiz Turba.
But it's not just the magnificent snow slopes that attract winter sports enthusiasts to Avers, it's the icefalls. Icefall climbing is possible in Avers from November to April.
The obverse is today is no longer an insider tip, but is considered an actual icefall climbing paradise.
