Humans and dogs have been linked for centuries

And science can also describe why humans and dogs are people's best friends

People have actually been associated with dogs for centuries and are completely sensible too. Dogs can understand human language.

The connections of the People to dogs go back centuries, when nomadic hunters first became involved with wolves.

The specific timeline for pet domestication is up for debate. Estimates vary between 10.000 and 30.000 years ago. But each time humans were first associated with wolves, the encounter paved the way for interspecific camaraderie.

“In fact, we don’t know why humans and wolves came together in the first place. Once this relationship was established, people quickly chose the most sociable wolves - the ones that responded to people in this distinctive way.

While dogs' closest wolf ancestors may be extinct, researchers are trying to solve the hereditary challenge by collecting genomes from lupine domestication sites.

While all dogs were once thought to have descended from the gray wolf, a recent study suggests that canines may trace their ancestry to primitive wolves that roamed Eurasia between 9.000 and 34.000 years ago.

By sequencing DNA from the inner ear bone of a dog that lived 4.800 years ago, researchers at the University of Oxford determined that humans likely domesticated dogs in two different geographic locations in Eurasia.

While pets minimize their owners' worries and make them feel truly safer, people care and groom their pooches.

Therefore, this symbiotic partnership is beneficial for humans and dogs

It is known that dogs love their owners glücklich greet them when they go for a walk around the house - and the factor behind dogs' endless joy may actually be genetic.

Scientists discovered that hyper-sociability in dogs may be linked to the same genetics that make people with the developmental condition Williams-Beuren disorder both agreeable and trusting.

While a dog's genetic makeup can determine its individuality, puppies are also influenced by their owners' lifestyles and personalities.

A research study conducted at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary found that dogs from the Way of life and the personality traits of their owners.

Scientists conducted online surveys of more than 14.000 dog owners.

Dogs presented in the research study represented 267 types and 3.920 mixed breeds.

The owners had to respond to a study about themselves and how they interact with their dogs and fill out inquiries about their dogs' personalities.

Overall, the study found that owners influenced four key characteristics of pets:

Calmness, trainability, sociability and daring.

Dogs can understand human language, especially if it contains words of praise.

Further research from Eötvös Loránd University looked at the ability of dogsto understand human language.

By using an imaging device to examine the minds of 13 dogs as they paid attention to their trainers' speech, researchers found that the reward pathway in the dogs' brains lit up when they heard applauding words spoken in an accepting manner.
