The jump was very dangerous and should not be attempted by amateurs.

Today former British kitesurfing champion Lewis Crathern took on the Tornado and also efficiently jumped over Brighton Pier!
With strong winds from Gale, Lewis spent 2 hours trying to navigate the rough water and find a course to release over the pier, but failed Success.
Kitesurfer Lewis Crathern waited three years to get the best conditions for daring jumps over Worthing Pier.
