Renaud Capuçon – relaxation music to let go
In France, Renaud Capuçon is the best-known violin virtuoso of his generation.
The 34-year-old has also long since established himself internationally as a multi-award-winning solo artist and chamber musician.
Born in Chambéry in 1976, Renaud Capuçon began his studies at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris at the age of 14 and won various awards during his five years there.
Capuçon then moved to Berlin to study with Thomas Brandis and Isaac Stern and received the prize of the Berlin Academy of Arts.
Because at that moment Capuçon developed as a musician at the highest level.
He has already played concerts with bands such as the Berlin Philharmonic under Haitink and Robertson, the Boston Harmony under Dohnanyi, the Orchester de Paris under Eschenbach and the Simon Bolivar Band under Dudamel.
Capuçon also conducts intensive research as a solo recitalist and will certainly perform complete cycles of Beethoven's violin sonatas around the world with pianist Frank Braley in the coming periods.

Because in 2007, Renaud Capucon is an ambassador for the Job Zegna & Music, created in 1997 as a humanitarian activity to promote music and its values.
