We all know them: They stand in the pedestrian zones and scratch on their violins, bang their guitars, or sing annoying songs Lieder.

Street musicians are often enough a nuisance.

Where does Tic-Tac actually come from?

In 1969, Tic Tac was first introduced to the United States by Ferrero.

The market launch in Germany took place in 1972, initially under the name "Refreshing", which was only renamed Tic Tac years later.

Tic Tac is mainly available in three variants: Tic Tac Fresh Mint (1972), Tic Tac Fresh Orange (1975) and since 2013 Strawberry Mix. S

Since 2003, limited summer and annual varieties have also been available.

The new “tic tac” logo has also been used in Germany since 2007.

Vitamin C has been added to the summer varieties of Tic Tac since 2006. During the 2016 US election campaign, the Tic Tac brand gained additional widespread attention worldwide thanks to a remark made by Donald Trump.
